Accommodation: Standard Terms and Conditions
For non-promotional accommodation reservations made directly through the Old Vine’s website
Our rates differ according to the number of guests staying: please ensure you enter the correct number of guests, including children and infants, when making your reservation
Full payment is taken 24 hours ahead of arrival. Please note we do not accept Amex. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
Card details are taken to secure the reservation
A pre-authorisation check will be run on these card details at least seven days ahead of arrival to confirm validity. Should this check be returned as invalid we will attempt to contact you to provide new card details. If we have not been able to make contact within three attempts the reservation will be cancelled. Please therefore ensure you provide your best contact details in case we need to reach you
To avoid this scenario guests may opt to pay in full at the time of making their reservation. Please confirm in the Special Requests field if you wish to do this. Refunds are subject to a 3% admin fee
Cancellations/amendments: notice of cancellation must be received in writing by 12 noon the day before arrival to avoid charges. Cancellations must be emailed to reservations@oldvinewinchester.com Cancellations are not accepted over the phone
Cancellations received, at the latest, by 12 noon the day before arrival: no charge will be made
Cancellations received later than 12 noon the day before arrival: 100% of the booking charges due will be taken (except in the event of Covid-19 restrictions)

Offer fully pre-paid at time of booking. No refund in the event of cancellation. If a reservation cannot be met due to Covid-19 restrictions we will transfer the reservation to a new date in the future

Policy on allergens
Management, kitchen and front-of-house teams are all allergy aware. Whilst every effort is made to serve dishes as allergen-free when requested, cross-contamination risks cannot be eliminated entirely and therefore our food may be unsuitable for those with severe allergies or intolerances. Please ask to see our allergen-management documentation at the time of your visit. It is advisable to warn us of any special dietary requirements ahead of your visit
Policy on children
Children 6+ years are welcome in the restaurant at any time, and in the bar at lunchtime and during the day. Children under 6 can use the Little Minster Room, and outside spaces. Please note that, due to space restrictions, pushchairs cannot be accommodated indoors. A high chair is available for use in the Little Minster Room
Policy on pets
Pets are welcome in the bar and on the outside areas but are not permitted in the restaurant or hotel rooms
