IN THE CITY CENTRE: The Old Vine is situated opposite Winchester Cathedral green and the City Museum, in an area known as the Square, just a short stroll from the High Street.

BY RAIL: Winchester is one hour's travel from London Waterloo, trains leave approximately every half hour. Winchester is also within easy reach by rail of Woking, Basingstoke, Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth. For timetable information please call 08457 48 49 50.

BY ROAD: Arriving on the M3, come off at J11. Follow the signs for St Cross and the city centre. This will bring you along St Cross Road. Proceed for a mile or so. As you come into Winchester, look out for the Green Man pub on the right-hand side. Turn right here into St Swithun Street. Turn left at the bottom of the road into Symonds Street. At the fork at the end of the road take the left-hand exit into Little Minster Street. The Old Vine is in on the right-hand side.
